Jennifer brings over 20 years of experience to the salon as a seasoned hair stylist. And as co-owner and hair stylist, she divides her time between delivering excellent customer service while designing beautiful hair and assisting with the day-to-day operations of the salon.
She loves to do big transformations, short haircuts, and beautifully blended highlights are her specialty. She excels in men’s and children’s cuts, and enjoys doing perms as well.
Lauren has evolved into a very accomplished stylist and colorist. Her haircuts are her strengths and they are detailed and precise. She is also very strong in color melting and ombres. Color is vital to so many people’s confidence and inner self worth; it is everywhere, and she embraces the role that it plays in people's lives.
Lauren mentors the newer stylists in the salon, while supporting fellow advanced stylists. Lauren welcomes continuing education, understanding that it is the key to continuing success.
Jules is an accomplished stylist and colorist that has proven herself to become an artist in hair design, graduating with a license in 2010. She is also, within our team, a friend, student, educator, and de-stresser when needed. Jules feels that while making her guests feel their best, they give back in the same way. She loves being part of an industry that is ever-changing, working for a company that lives by their mission to care for the world we live in. Jules is structured in her work, and embraces teamwork and commitment.
Mo is a seasoned stylist who began her career after graduating from Paul Mitchell in Atlanta, GA, in 2012. She gained valuable experience working in a high-end salon and continued to sharpen her craft through advanced training with renowned artists such as Lupe Voss, Geno Chapman, Dell Miller, and Hauns Korpela.
Mo specializes in artistic color techniques, including balayage, color melting, and high-fashion color transformations. She is also la Tierra Salon’s cutting trainer, known for her precision and passion for styles like pixie cuts, shags, and bobs.
Clients love sitting in Mo’s chair not just for the impeccable results, but for the thoughtful conversation and well-rounded perspective she brings to every appointment.
Stephanie graduated from Paul Mitchell in 2015 and has been passionate about hair ever since. She loves connecting with people, learning their stories, and helping them look and feel their best. Seeing a client’s smile at the end of a service is what truly inspires her.
Outside of the salon, Stephanie enjoys spending time with her daughters. In the summer, they love paddleboarding together, and in the winter, they cozy up by the fire. She also has a creative side and enjoys reading, painting, and drawing in her free time.
Taylor attended and graduated from the accredited Aveda Institute of Denver in 2012, however, she chose to spend time in different areas of the beauty industry before beginning her career, working as an Aveda Mentor until finding her home here in 2014. Starting at la Tierra as Front Desk, she has transitioned into our Aveda Color Trainer. Along with specializing in all color, she especially loves blonde highlights, fashion colors, and make-up. When not at work, you can find Taylor at concerts, playing games with family and friends, or in Disney.
Amber, originally from New Jersey, moved to Colorado with her family when she was 16. Surrounded by aunts who were hairstylists in Aveda salons, Amber felt the calling to create her own beauty. In 2008, she graduated from the Salon Professional Academy in Colorado Springs. Amber’s strengths in the industry are “anything blonde” and educating herself as our new Aveda Product Ambassador. Creating stunning balayage, color melts, and hair painting are a few of the creative skills she enjoys. Outside of work, Amber likes to spend time with her fiancé and dog exploring new restaurants. She also enjoys sporting events, fly fishing, and camping.
Lizzie is a skilled stylist specializing in Level 3, cutting 60 colors with precision. Inspired by a friend in the industry, she pursued her passion at the Aveda Institute Denver, where she honed her craft. Lizzie loves connecting with clients and bringing creativity to every appointment. Her favorite services include dimensional coloring and blonding, where she excels in creating stunning, customized looks. Outside the salon, she enjoys hiking and spending time outdoors with her dog.
Monica went to the Technical College of the Rockies Her program started in August of 2017 and she graduated with her cosmetology license in September 2018. Her favorite services to do are blowdry styles and balayages. Outside of the salon, she likes going to the gym.
Heather attended the Aveda Institute Denver for cosmetology and graduated in 2018. She has completed the New Artist training program at la Tierra and is fully trained to perform all haircuts and hair color applications that you need. Her strengths and passions are fashion colors, color melting, and balayage. She shows off these beautiful color methods in the social media world, so look for her out there. She also excels in makeup application and instruction. Outside of work, Heather’s interests and passions are drawing, nail art, sewing, cooking, and crafting.
Skyler graduated from the Denver Aveda Institute in 2022. While originally from California, she has resided in Colorado since 2014. One of her favorite aspects of hair is doing fashion colors. Outside of the salon, some of her interests include watching horror movies, roller skating, and exploring Colorado for a new adventure.
Paige graduated from the Aveda Institute in 2023 and is thrilled to begin her professional journey with the Aveda brand. With a passion for creativity and a genuine desire to connect with others, she is committed to providing clients with a personalized, uplifting experience. Paige finds joy in helping people embrace their unique beauty and loves working on all types of hair services, from cuts to color. Outside of the salon, Paige enjoys attending live music events, skateboarding, and exploring various artistic activities that inspire her creativity.
Katy earned her cosmetology license in 2024 after graduating from the Aveda Institute and joined the la Tierra Salon team in 2025. She is quickly making her mark with a keen eye for fashion color and expertly layered cuts.
Outside the salon, Katy is a creative soul who loves going to concerts, spending time with friends, and sewing. She’s also a proud dog mom to a German Shepherd named Inb.
Ava graduated from Colorado’s Finest Salon and Spa Academy in 2024. Her love for hair began in her teenage years, experimenting with her own style and accompanying her grandmother to salon visits—moments that inspired her passion for transformation and the joy it brings to others.
She’s thrilled to begin her career with Aveda, where she especially enjoys precision haircuts and bold, vibrant color work. Outside the salon, Ava finds creative inspiration through playing the flute, reading, and writing.

Taylor Lehmberg is a talented stylist and a 2025 graduate of Bellisimo Blu Salon & Academy. She chose the beauty industry with a simple but powerful goal: to help people fall in love with themselves and feel more confident with every visit.
Taylor specializes in radiant, dimensional highlights—her number one favorite—along with creative color, Brazilian Blowouts, and transformations that make her clients glow inside and out.
Outside of the salon, you’ll likely find her painting, shopping, or spending time with her adorable cat, Sir Bobs.
Calyx Warren is a creative and passionate stylist who graduated from the Stacey James Institute in January 2025. Inspired by a family legacy of beauty—her mom a cosmetologist and her grandma a Mary Kay consultant—Calyx knew from a young age that she wanted to help others feel the same joy and confidence she experienced from trying something new with her own hair.
Calyx specializes in bold transformations, including big cuts, vivid colors, and funky styles. Her favorite part of the job is helping people rediscover their beauty and fall in love with themselves all over again.
When she’s not behind the chair, you’ll find Calyx at concerts, spending time with her boyfriend, family, and cats, or spinning a hula hoop with joy and flair.
Charlene Meister is a Dual Licensed Esthetician and Massage Therapist at La Tierra Salon & Day Spa, having graduated from the Aveda Institute Denver in October 2014. Passionate about helping people, she brings comfort and care to her clients through her expert touch. With a background as a Specialist in the US Army (Patriot Missiles) in the late '90s, Charlene infuses her work with discipline and dedication. She enjoys painting and art, reflecting her deep appreciation for beauty and creativity in all forms. A loving wife and mother, Charlene is known for her warmth, compassion, and incredible human spirit.
Farren, a Colorado native, grew up in Leadville and later moved between Colorado and Kentucky before returning to the mountains in 2015. With a lifelong passion for beauty and skincare, she pursued her dream at the Stacey James Institute, graduating in 2022. She loves performing facials and helping clients feel confident in their skin. Outside of work, you'll find her exploring Colorado’s stunning landscapes, catching Pokémon with her husband and friends, enjoying movies, or curling up with a good book and her cats.
Julie has been a Nail Technician and Esthetician for the past 35 years. She takes great pride in her work, has a great understanding of how the human spirit and the human body are one. She is certified in foot reflexology, along with her extensive skin and nail skills. She has an understanding of essential oils and their benefits to a person in their everyday life. She is very devoted to her guests, and very detailed in her work. She is passionate about her animals, family, and the care she gives them is evident of this. She is truly grateful in her life for each and every guest that she services.
