Children
Out of consideration for other guests and stylists, please do not bring your children unless they have an appointment. Children are not allowed in the spa area for any reason or we will need to reschedule your appointment. Thank you for your understanding.
Reservations
Appointments are recommended. We will text, email, or call you two days before your reservation to confirm your date and time. All spa reservations and some hair reservations require a credit card or gift card to ensure observance of our cancellation policy.
Cancellation
As much advance notice as possible is appreciated on all cancellations. All spa services and some hair services require a 24 hour cancellation notice. Failure to cancel with a minimum of 24 hour notice will result in a credit card charge of 50% of the service price.
A no show at the time of service will result in a 100% charge of the service price. We reserve the right to ask for a credit card at the time of reservation.
Punctuality
We ask that you arrive 10 minutes prior to your service so that you can change, fill out any necessary paperwork, and relax so that you can enjoy the benefit of your full service time.
Payment
La Tierra accepts all major credit cards, and we require a major credit card number for any checks that are used for payment. We accept Aveda gift cards (for product only), and of course, our own la Tierra gift cards can be used for product or service. Money cannot be refunded on gift cards.
Re-dos for Hair Services
Requests for a re do must be made within 72 hours of the initial service, and must be done by the same stylist or one at the same price point.
Gratuities
Gratuities are greatly appreciated, and can be left in the form of cash, or as a separate line item on your credit card slip.
Prices
Prices listed on the menu are general, and can be adjusted to the length and thickness of your hair, and in the spa, the area and denseness of hair to be waxed may also affect the pricing. Please be specific about your wishes when you set your reservation.
Product Returns
Aveda does not take returns on make-up products. All make-up sales are final. Aveda does not take returns on skin care unless you can prove an allergic reaction. All other products carry a 30 day grace period during which they can be returned for credit or exchange.
Please note the expiration date on the back of each product bottle.
